Last night I woke up to find that I had passed out for two hours on my chair without even knowing how I had gotten there. As long as I’m conscious, I have the willpower to force myself awake, but I’m starting to pass out and not even notice how it happened… There’s not a whole lot I can do about that. So I’ve decided to take a break from uberman for a couple days, sleep at night, sleep well, and try to catch up on the sleep debt.
I’m still taking naps on top of sleeping at night to try to get caught up as quickly as possible. I think that if I start the experiment over while well rested, it’ll be easier to adapt. The first time I did uberman I started while already really sleep-deprived and it was astoundingly unsuccessful. This second time worked better because I had already trained myself to take short naps. Now that I’ve nailed down a good method for taking organized naps, perhaps the third time will be the charm.
Until then, I’ll enjoy not being bored and tired all the time… I’ll continue blogging about any interesting post-uberman effects I notice.
