I figure if I’m going to become more serious about CS, it’s about time I get my own website and blog.
I recently got back from Chicago where I was living with my brother and doing ruby on rails web development for a startup called Inventables. It was a great experience–I learned much about writing web applications and general programming and work skills. I also made some cash–always a plus when you’re facing college tuition.
For my last project at Inventables I revamped the corporate site to use wordpress. I found the process friendly enough that I decided to start my own blog using it.
For the past three days I’ve been working almost exclusively on this website–It’s my first hand at styling CSS from scratch. This project has been fueling my transition into the Uberman sleep cycle, a form of polyphasic sleep where you take several short naps interspersed evenly throughout the day rather than one long period of sleep at night.
